The Action House Film department is a full force production facility, producing TV, movies, documentaries, and music videos. The Film department teaches students through production, business and leadership.
Clay Banks is the head of the Film department. Clay has worked in the industry for many years and has been in both film and television. He is also the man behind GodWorks Productions, a Hollywood based film acting studio and production company partnering with Action House. As a part of Action House, you will have the opportunity to work both with Action House and GodWorks.
You will take part in all the different aspects of a professional film shoot, and be trained by professionals from the industry. In addition to this, you will have the chance to work on real Hollywood shoots.

The Film Department strives to glorify God in its work by prayer, operating in excellence, and being witnesses in spiritually challenging environments. We believe that prayer is the foundation of anything we do, and that nothing can be accomplished well without prayer. Classes are taught on a Hollywood standard level. As a part of the Film department, you will have a weekly two hour class. This class will include field trips to places such as Hollywood prop houses and studio lots. There will also be guest speakers, professional screenings of reels for critique, and weekly assignments. The conclusion of the class will be a finished film of your own, where you will have the chance to tap into your creative side. You will make storyboards, shot lists and scripts, following every step from concept to completion as in a professional production, using professional equipment. |
